The Head of the Field Hospital of Tripoli Abdeldayem Al-Rabti said that the clashes in Ghararat district in Tripoli led to one killing and 11 injuries from the Special Deterrent Force (SDF). The injuries are all from the armed group in Ghararat, except for one from the SDF.
In the meantime, the spokesman of the SDF Ahmed Salim confirmed to Alnabaa TV Channel that one of their personnel was killed and another was injured in the clashes.
“First Lieutenant Nemir Mohammed Al-Jamal was killed in the clashes and he was a commander of one of the SDF forces.” The SDF said on Facebook.
The SDF added that it had controlled Ghararat district and arrested whom it described as criminals, announcing the district as a military zone and warning residents from moving around the clashes’ areas.
Meanwhile, a source from Mitiga Airport in Tripoli said flights resumed after being suspended over the clashes.
